  • Dan Hamilton

Their timetable has classes throughout the week from morning, afternoon, evening and weekends so there's always time to train and offer multiple kids classes a week.

Since starting here 2 years ago, my children have developed lots of confidence and important skills. It is a very reasonable cost meaning that my children can come to several sessions a week. They are both very happy and made lots of friends.

  • Paul Adams

This place has really helped both my boys improve not just their skills, but also it’s given them a big confidence boost and taught them some very important life lessons thanks to Jon’s coaching.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still deciding? Here are the questions we hear most before a first class.

What are the costs for classes?

Your first class is free! You can check out our membership page to see the latest options available and choose what's best for you.

How is grappling different from other martial arts?

Grappling is the modern version of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Submission wrestling. It integrates these different traditions alongside embracing modern sport science. We value learning and community over strict and fxed traditions.

How is grappling beneficial for kids?

Grappling classes help build confidence and physical fitness as well as providing a safe energy outlet and way to make friends.

Are age and fitness limitations a concern for kids' classes?

We welcome all fitness levels, but do have some age restrictions to ensure kids are ready and able to learn and meet to requirements of the class.

What should kids bring to their classes?

Students can wear athletic clothing, ensuring comfort and ease of movement during training (no zippers please). Bringing water for hydration and maintaining personal hygiene, including trimmed nails and no jewellery, is recommended for a positive class experience.

How can I get started?

Book a free class and see if you like it! Feel free to send a message beforehand if you have and questions or concerns.

Do I need to buy anything extra?

No. We allow our students to wear athletic clothes they already own. For regular practitioners, they will often purchase things such as a gumshield and also some specific no-gi or gi attire when they can.
